Saxello – background music with a different ambiance!
Saxello is Simon and Jude – an acoustic instrumental duo with a unique fusion of saxophone and cello, with a dash of flute and loop pedal tricks to create the atmosphere of a full band. Saxello perform a wide range of musical styles: pop covers, light jazz, and classical tracks especially suitable for wedding ceremonies.
The Simon Currie Jazz Quartet – classic jazz and swing group
The Simon Currie Jazz Quartet performs classic tracks from all the greats. We offer an authentic take on the ‘40s and ‘50s, cover artists such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Louis Prima and the current swing of Michael Bublé. They bring that swing style to artists such as Norah Jones and Sam Smith too. The Quartet has over 35 years of experience, performing at all kinds of events, in many venues, to all audience sizes.
6plus1 is a band of 7 musicians playing New Orleans jazz, mixing in funk, rock, and Ska styles. They always play with a sense of fun – a mission to entertain! 6plus1 is ideal to book for larger weddings, corporate events, and outdoor events such as fetes. 6plus1’s musicians have played widely together, including a sell-out week at the 2017 Edinburgh fringe.
The Jazz Soul Boogie Band is a dynamic jazz and soul band led by Olly Wedgwood on piano and vocals. With a repertoire of over 250 songs, they love to perform music that everyone knows and enjoys – ideal for weddings and large parties. Whether you want to dance the night away or have a smooth, soulful ambience, as one of the UK’s finest swing, Latin and soul bands, the Jazz Soul Boogie Band will create the perfect buzz at your event.
