What they are saying about the band.

The Big Colors Big Band debut album, available on the 33Jazz record label and via the Apple Music, Spotify and Soundcloud streaming platforms, was described by Jazz FM Instrumentalist of the Year, Mark Lockheart, as “hugely enjoyable, beautifully played and recorded, with sizzling solos and music which is contemporary but accessible”.

The album was featured by Alyn Shipton on BBC Radio 3 in January 2019.

Paul Medley of The Oxford Mail, reviewing the band at The Spin Jazz Club:

“The band…contains a wide spectrum of personal styles reflected in the soloing of the astonishingly powerful front line players. This was altogether a joyous evening of big band ensemble work…look out for Big Colors wherever they might next be appearing in Oxford.”
